What do I do if my license is lost while I am working?
If the selection of the floating license has already worked and the ema Work Designer suddenly stops responding, this may be due to the loss of the license. This happens when the connection to the server is interrupted.
Connection loss can occur if
- the network drive has crashed
- the computer has gone into standby mode
If the network drive has crashed, please contact your administrator.
If you want to prevent the loss of a license due to your computer going into standby mode, you must have your energy saving scheme checked. You can find it in the user profile under Windows settings -> System -> Network operation and energy-saving mode, where you can deactivate the energy-saving mode or set a longer period of time.
If you have already lost the license and can no longer save it, you can request the license again. To do this, click on the button at the top right, which should be colored red in your case.
